Joel Schoenhals has earned a reputation as one of the outstanding pianists and teachers of his generation.  Associate Professor of Piano at Eastern Michigan University and Faculty Member of the Chautauqua Institution Summer Piano Program, he is widely respected as a teacher for his clarity, depth, and creativity.  An active recording artist, solo recitalist, and chamber musician, his performances are sensitive, captivating, and original. Schoenhals is a Steinway Artist.
